Between the vast sea and the lofty heavens,
Undaunted by toil and hardship,
With earnestness and compassion,
He propagated the Dharma in the land to the east.
Ten thousand Buddhas grace the City.
He was the patriarch for a hundred generations to come.
Carry on, worthy followers:
Forever raise aloft the torch of wisdom.
