那一年的夏天，上人收了好几批弟子。七月，传授三皈。上人后面的一尊白色石膏佛像，是上人亲自塑造的。

Several times during that first summer, the Master received disciples. In July he transmitted the Three Refuges. Behind the Master is the white plaster Buddha image that he molded himself.
